CHICAGO, April 26, 2018 -- Family Office Exchange (FOX), a global learning and networking community of enterprise families and their key advisors, will offer three workshops in Chicago this June to provide critical training for enterprising families at different stages of their development. The FOX Family Office Design Workshop on June 12-13 is for families who think they might need a family office or want to enhance the functionality of one they already have. The FOX Trustees and Beneficiaries Workshop on June 19-20 offers training to prepare trustees and beneficiaries for their respective responsibilities. Finally, the FOX Family Enterprise Thinking Workshop on June 26-27 will help families master the complexity of sustaining a family enterprise.
“FOX Workshops provide families with high-quality, objective training developed over 30 years of working with financially successful families all over the world,” says Sara Hamilton, CEO of FOX. “Learning alongside other families facing similar issues is perhaps the best experience a workshop has to offer. Participants will get as much out of connecting with each other in a confidential setting, as they will from hearing from the subject-matter experts.”
The FOX Family Office Design Workshop – June 12-13 at Gleacher Center in Chicago
This workshop returns after selling out last fall. It is programmed for families who are thinking about launching a family office or professionalizing an existing family office. It will address strategic and tactical family office-related issues including governance and oversight, scope of services and delivery, talent and team structure, cost, technology and data security, and how to measure success in a family office.
The FOX Trustees and Beneficiaries Workshop – June 19-20 at The Metropolitan in Chicago
Trusts are a vital and prominent component of family wealth planning. This unique workshop will provide the training needed to prepare trustees and beneficiaries to take on the responsibilities involved in their significant roles. The agenda will cover best practices for both trustees and beneficiaries to become more confident in their roles and ready to develop strong working relationships with one another.
The FOX Family Enterprise Thinking Workshop – June 26-27 at Gleacher Center in Chicago
FOX has found that the adaptation of an “Enterprise Family Mindset” helps organize issues, relieves concern, and paves the way for sustaining a successful enterprise for generations to come. This is for families that own businesses, real estate, financial assets, and/or family foundations. The workshop will help families master complexity and begin to put a plan in place for strengthening their enterprise for the long term.
