Fenerbahce twice came from behind to beat Liverpool 3-2 in the Champions League at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium in Istanbul on Nov. 4, according to ESPN's scoreboard and match reporting.

The result gave Fenerbahce their first victory in four matches and handed Liverpool their first defeat. Liverpool had won their opening three games, while Fenerbahce had recorded two draws and a loss.

Real Madrid also won 3-2 away from home, beating AEK Athens at OPAP Arena in Greece on the same night. Federico Valverde scored the winner two minutes into stoppage time, ESPN said.

In Istanbul, Trey Nyoni put Liverpool ahead in the 25th minute. Mason Greenwood equalised for Fenerbahce in the 29th, leaving the teams level after Liverpool's opening advantage had lasted four minutes.

Those were the only goals before the break, with the remaining three arriving in a 10-minute stretch of the second half. Liverpool took the lead again before Fenerbahce scored twice to reverse the result.

Alexander Isak headed Liverpool into a 2-1 lead in the 69th minute. Archie Brown answered in the 73rd, bringing Fenerbahce level for a second time, again four minutes after Liverpool had scored.

Vedat Muriqi then headed Fenerbahce's third goal in the 79th minute. His goal put the home side ahead for the first time and completed the scoring in the five-goal match.

Fenerbahce finished the night with one win, two draws and one defeat from four matches. Liverpool's record stood at three wins, no draws and one defeat after the loss in Istanbul.

In Athens, Aboubakary Koita opened the scoring for AEK in the 12th minute. Jude Bellingham equalised for Real Madrid in the 32nd, and the teams reached halftime at 1-1.

Stavros Pilios restored AEK's lead in the 75th minute, putting the hosts 2-1 ahead. Kylian Mbappé equalised three minutes later, bringing Madrid back into the match for the second time.

Valverde's goal in the second minute of added time gave Madrid their first lead. Like Fenerbahce, Madrid conceded the opening goal and fell behind again after drawing level before securing a 3-2 victory.

Madrid finished with four wins from four matches, with no draws or defeats. AEK's record stood at one win, no draws and three losses after the defeat at OPAP Arena.
