Shinra is about to unlock a new ability by surpassing his limits in strenuous training with Arthur in “Fire Force” season 2 episode 24. However, the season finale will also include a tragic incident involving the death of a Fire Force captain at the hands of a White Clad who calls himself the Butcher.
‘Fire Force’ season 2 episode 24: Shinra, Arthur go beyond their limits
The final episode of the season will likely pick up from the training happening in Asakusa with help from Company 7’s Captain Shinmon. As he demonstrated in episode 23, Shinmon has some absurd methods of training, but it was effective and helped Tamaki unlock a new power.
Shinra and Arthur were last seen being exposed to direct heat, and that is not the only thing they will have to endure in “Fire Force” season 2, episode 24. Shinmon will push their physical condition to the limit to the extent of a potential overheating after five hours of extreme warm-up.
After hours of hazing-like activities that could lead Shinra and Arthur to tephrosis, Shinmon will not give them time to rest and will start attacking them. It can be recalled that the main goal for the Company 8 duo is to learn how to use Hysterical Strength, also known as Superfire.
Just as Shinra is about to pass out, he should be going through a sort of awakening upon tapping into his “survival instinct” and understanding “the pressure of death” in “Fire Force” season 2 episode 24. It is at this point where Shinra is likely to produce blue flames confirming that he has activated his Hysterical Strength.
Captain Hague is fatally attacked because of Stigma
While Shinra, Arthur, and Tamaki are training, Hibana and Konro dig deeper into how the latter performed Adolla Link with help from Kayoko Huang in “Fire Force” season 2 episode 24. While they will not get immediate answers, they will deduce that Konro was attacked by a White Clad because of his Stigma, which is the scarring he acquired after his Adolla Link.
They will then realize that Company 4’s Captain Hague could also be in danger because he also has a Stigma mark. Unfortunately, a White Clad with a golden arm will already reach Hague and immediately kills him even before the three manages to find him.
‘Fire Force’ season 2 episode 24 release date, where to watch
This is expected to be the last episode of the season, so it makes sense for “Fire Force” season 2 episode 24 to feature Shinra’s new ability while also introducing a new mystery that only deepens the Fire Force’s problems regarding the White Clad. If the events from the manga are any indication, the season could also end with the White Clad surfacing with Sho and declaring to begin their efforts in claiming Tokyo.
“Fire Force” season 2 episode 24 will be released on Saturday, Dec. 12. The new episode will be officially streamed on AnimeLab, Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Netflix in some parts of Asia.
