Two people remained missing after county officials reported five injuries from a Nov. 4 fire at the Panasonic-run site in Hsinchu.
Reuters identified the operator as Panasonic Industrial Devices Materials Taiwan and reported that the unit supplies Taiwan’s printed circuit board makers. Those boards are used in electronics, including computers and AI servers.
County authorities said the injured people were transported to a hospital. Reuters said Panasonic had not yet replied to a request for comment.
