Fitch Ratings says in its latest European Refining Dashboard that refineries enjoyed healthy margins in 1Q15 as crude prices remain low, although this is unlikely to be sustained. Challenges to European refining environment with overcapacity and strong competition from refiners based in oil producing countries still remain and pose risk to the longevity of improved refining environment in the short- to medium-term.
