Fiverr Teams Up with the New York Yankees and Johnny Damon to Give Startups, Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs the Opportunity to Win Big for Their Brands

NEW YORK, Aug. 23, 2017 -- Fiverr, the marketplace for creative and digital services for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is joining forces with the New York Yankees to give businesses a big-league brand experience through “The Game Changer,” a storytelling competition to win exposure at the iconic Yankee Stadium. Together, Fiverr and the New York Yankees are celebrating the hard work of entrepreneurs across the country by giving them a chance to tell their story on one of the nation’s biggest stages. Former Yankees World Series champion and budding entrepreneur Johnny Damon will serve as a business expert, in addition to helping recruit businesses to enter.

The tools to start up and grow a business have never been more accessible for today’s entrepreneurs, but finding the right way to creatively and effectively capture attention continues to be a challenge for many. How It Works

Winning businesses will take home a once-in-a-lifetime prize package that will change their businesses forever, highlighted by major advertising exposure at Yankee Stadium. In addition to LED advertisements designed in collaboration with a professional Fiverr Pro freelance designer, winners will also walk away with Delta SKY360 Suite tickets to a Yankees game and $1,500 in additional Fiverr credit to grow their businesses. With the help of a Success Manager, winning businesses can optimize their credit to find top talent for business-related services, including everything from a new logo to updated SEO and content for their website. As part of their “The Game Changer” experience with the Fiverr team, businesses will also have exclusive invitations to attend a celebratory brand showcase alongside Johnny Damon at the Yankees’ September 18th home game.

How To Enter

For close to three weeks, startups, small businesses and entrepreneurs will be able to share their stories by creating video submissions explaining why they should be considered. By visiting “The Game Changer” website, businesses can record their story ahead of time and upload it. Submissions should creatively explain why entrants have chosen the path of the entrepreneur and what drives them to succeed.

Voting

On September 8th, voting will close and the top fifteen videos will be selected through a process of public engagement and a panel of judges. Entries will then be narrowed down to the winners by key Fiverr stakeholders. See here for complete Terms and Conditions.
