Flap now directs its website traffic to flap.cool and urges users to avoid flap.sh while probing whether DNS attacks involved its domain provider; the cause remains unknown.
Visitors entering flap.sh are routed to flap.cool. Flap’s warning covers visits to the old domain, wallet connections and transaction signing. The cause of the DNS attacks has not been identified.
The domain change follows Flap's earlier warning about abnormal website redirects. At that time, the company was working to disable affected interfaces and seeking assistance from Vercel and Name.com, according to EconoTimes' earlier coverage of the incident.
That report also said the response involved Blockaid and other partners. Flap's founder said the alert applied to users who connected a wallet or signed approvals on the redirected site shortly before the warning, and said earlier connections were unaffected. The company planned further updates as its response continued.
