Foxconn expects AI server rack shipments to more than double in 2026, a forecast tied to rising cloud provider spending as demand for AI computing capacity expands.
In its August results announcement, Foxconn linked continued growth in AI rack volumes to higher capital spending by cloud service providers. The company also described its integrated rack and data-center offerings as an advantage in supplying customers.
In March, Foxconn Chairman and CEO Young Liu estimated the company’s share of the AI server market at about 40%. Liu said adding cloud service provider customers could lift that share.
The shipment outlook builds on Foxconn’s existing vertical integration and rack integration capabilities, which the company has described as part of its broader AI infrastructure manufacturing push. Foxconn also said demand for AI production capacity should remain strong in 2027.
