France's Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) said it has added 64 names to its list of unauthorized crypto websites since 2026 began, expanding the information consumers can consult when checking providers.
Its Oct. 19 notice contains 26 URL entries for sites identified in the third quarter. That figure counts listed web addresses; the regulator did not give a separate quarterly total for distinct websites.
The AMF identified the addresses as sites where crypto assets or related services were offered illegally in France. In a separate case, Spain's Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) warned about four entities on Oct. 13 for lacking approval to provide regulated crypto-asset services. The Spanish notices concerned activities subject to authorization under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation.
The AMF says its unauthorized-site list is updated frequently but is not exhaustive. It also directs readers to a separate list of authorized crypto-asset service providers on its website.
