Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported attacks in the south on Oct. 19, before a Lebanese military delegation was scheduled to hold talks in Florida. NNA’s account listed air attacks at Wadi al-Hujair and around Tallouseh in Marjayoun, along with two blasts it attributed to Israeli troops in Qantara. The agency also reported machine-gun fire in Khiam and Qantara, shelling across several locations and an explosion in Tayri Friday.
The account describes preparations for a potential confrontation, not fighting already underway.
The agency described the strikes as another ceasefire breach. A June framework links Israeli redeployments to security steps by Lebanon.
