‘Frozen 2’ Premiere Date, Spoilers: Exploring Shipwrecks, Reuniting with Dead Parents, and Discovering Family Heritage

Frozen 2.NerdAlert/YouTube

The trailer for “Frozen 2” has been out for nearly two months now and it has generated a lot of speculation among publications and fans with regards to what the story will be. The general idea of the plot has already been revealed, what with Elsa and Anna trying to learn more about their parents. However, there might be some hints in the clip that could lead to exploring a shipwreck, a potential family reunion, and the discovery of hidden parental history.

As Business Times reports, there could be clues in the trailer clip below that reveals some parts of what the story of “Frozen 2” will be. To start with, there is the matter of Elsa trying to cross the sea using her powers, which could be indicative of her wanting to see the place where her parents’ ship sank. This could have been spurred by an event that led her to want to see the spot for herself to see if their bodies are actually there.

That would certainly be a grim development for a children’s movie, but it could then lead to the sisters’ journey to learn more about their mother and father. From there, the story could develop to eventually include a reunion between them and both parents or just one of them. Based on hints with regards to the mother’s powers, she could be the survivor in “Frozen 2.”

Speaking of whom, it has been revealed by the trailer that the late queen might have had abilities, as well. This would then explain the reason why Elsa has powers, which would open a whole new can of worms if proven true. If this turns out to be the case, “Frozen 2” could then lead to a discovery of a lineage that would make any mature fantasy plot look like fan fiction. Nov. 22 simply can’t get here fast enough.
