“Frozen 2” is one of the most anticipated animated films next year and the good thing is that it has a release date already. This would be Disney’s follow-up to the worldwide smash hit “Frozen” film that premiered in theaters in 2013. Fans have been waiting for five years now so the excitement just doubled when the news that it is already coming came out.
What’s more, the first look at “Frozen 2” sisters has been leaked and it found its way online. Although there were suspicions with regards to the image’s authenticity, after some checking, many believe that it is legit.
The “Frozen 2” image of Elsa and Anna was featured on a Russian calendar and this was posted on social media like Instagram and Twitter. It was quickly shared and fans were in awe after seeing the new looks of the famous Disney sisters who are synonymous to the movie’s theme song “Let It Go.”
In the picture, Elsa and Anna stand side by side and they are grown ups now. One thing that convinced people to think that it is a legit “Frozen 2” image is that the calendar where it appeared on showed it is a licensed art and its title reads: “Frozen Hearts 2.”

Moreover, it was the same calendar who leaked the “Han Solo” poster last year. The image has not been seen yet until the Russian calendar published it. Later, when the movie was announced, the poster turned out to be the real thing.
As for the “Frozen 2” plot, Disney has remained tight-lipped so it is still a mystery. However, the actress playing Anna, Kristen Bell, dropped some hints about the upcoming movie sequel.
In her September interview with Sirius XM Radio, she revealed that there will be new characters and they are not just one but few. She also said that there will many scenarios that will surprise the viewers but did not elaborate.
"You'll see new characters. I'll be able to say more when the movie comes out but there are a lot of very very intimate moments for me in this movie,” the actress said.
“Frozen 2” is coming to movie houses on Nov. 22, 2019.
