BURLINGTON, Vt., Jan. 24, 2018 -- For the eighth consecutive year, Fuse, a marketing agency specializing in Millennial and Gen Z audiences, has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Vermont. The annual program, designed to identify and celebrate places of employment that benefit the state’s economy, workforce and businesses, is a joint effort managed by Vermont Business Magazine, the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the Vermont Department of Economic Development, the Vermont Department of Labor, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – Vermont State Council and Best Companies Group.

Companies are vetted through a two-part evaluation process that assesses workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics as well as a heavily weighed survey of employees that gauges their overall experience and satisfaction.
Fuse partner, Bill Carter, said, “It’s always an honor to be considered as a member of this category.” He stated, “It’s especially fulfilling in a state like Vermont where many employees prioritize a healthy work-life balance and many businesses recognize the value of employee satisfaction.”
Fuse employees are encouraged to pursue this healthy work-life balance by taking advantage of the company’s substantial benefits. In addition to generous vacation time, an annual fitness stipend and half day Fridays in the summer, Fuse also offers unique perks customized to employees’ lifestyles. Full-time staff receive a winter season pass to Stowe Mountain Resort, unlimited access to an on-site mini skateboard ramp, and the option to bring their dog to work. Those who reach five-year and ten-year milestones of working at Fuse are awarded with a personalized tenure package that includes a personalized trip such as heli-boarding in British Columbia, scuba diving trip in Costa Rica, and a tour of Thailand. The marketing agency also encourages community involvement by offering paid time off for volunteering and organizing monthly volunteer opportunities.
The final rankings for each category will be announced at a special awards presentation in early spring 2018.
