FxWirePro: Asian markets drastically down, gold stabilizes above $1,190 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a lower note on Thursday. Gold was trading around $1,193 mark while silver was trading around $14.26 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 4.13 pct lower at 22,547.55 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 2.70 pct lower at 5,887.40 points.

Taiwan stocks close was trading around 5.89 pct lower at 9,850.11 points.

Shanghai composite index down over 4 pct and China's CSI300 index down over 4 pct.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index was trading 3.84 pct lower 25,189.55 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 2.50 percent lower at 10,200.20 points while BSE Sensex was trading 2.38 points lower at 33,938.82 points.

Vietnam stocks index down 5.2 pct to 942.51, lowest level in eight weeks.

Thailand stocks down 2.6 pct to 1,677.65, their lowest in 4 weeks.

Malaysia stocks down 2.6 pct to 1,690.22, their lowest in 3 months.

South Korea’s kospi was trading 2.80 pct lower at 2,144.34 points.
