FxWirePro: Asian markets in red, gold slightly up

All the major Asian indices were trading on a lower note on Thursday. Gold was trading around $1,310 mark while silver was trading around $16.40 mark.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of Constitution Day.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,074.52 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,756.17 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index up 0.80 pct at 6,097.10 points in early trade.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.72 pct lower at 30,195.50 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.46 percent lower at 2,493.63 points.

Taiwanese stocks was trading around 0.62 percent lower at 10,553.75 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.48 percent lower at 10,666.80 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.33 points lower at 35,054.95 points.
