FxWirePro: Asian markets mixed, gold touches $1,540 mark in early Asia

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Friday. Gold was trading around $1,538 mark while silver was trading around $18.11 mark.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of the 4-day Bank Holiday.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.75 pct higher at 6,739.80 points.

Hong kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.15 pct lower at 28,497.00 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.14 pct higher at 2,178.22 points.

Taiwan’s TWII was trading 0.08 pct lower at 12,090.66 points.

India’s NSE was trading 0.24 pct lower at 12,252.15 points and BSE sensex points 0.20 pct lower at 41,546.15 points.
