Australia’s S&P/ASX200 was trading 0.95 pct higher at 6,443.55 points.
Shanghai composite index to open up 0.2 pct at 2,833.01 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.4 pct at 3,578.01 points.
Hong Kong's hang seng index was trading 2.09 percent higher at 27,530.22 points.
South Korea’s Kospi was trading 1.21 percent higher at 2,097.58 points.
Taiwan stock was trading 1.27 percent higher at 10,540.61 points.
India’s NSE was trading 0.62 pct higher at 11,940.55 points and BSE Sensex was trading 0.64 pct higher at 39,869.79 points.
