FxWirePro: Asian markets surprisingly up, gold falls below $1,270 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Wednesday. Gold was trading around $1,268 mark while silver was trading around $16.70 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 1.74 percent higher at 22,441.55 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.48 pct higher at 5,937.20 points.

Taiwan stock was trading around 0.04 pct higher at 10,802.65 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.46 pct higher at 28,394.50 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 1.01 percent higher at 2,550.53 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,393.97 points and China's CSI300 index to open flat at 4,007.91 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.93 percent higher at 10,432.70 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 1.05 percent higher 33,563.44 points.
