EUR/JPY was trading 0.48% higher on the day at 129.89 at around 11:50 GMT, bias bullish.
The pair spiked higher after ECB Lagarde’s comments buoyed the common currency across the board.
European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde said that the central bank won't be guided by short-term economic moves.
Technical bias for the pair is bullish. The pair has retraced brief dip below 21-EMA and is set to resume upside.
Stochs and RSI are biased higher. RSI is above the 50 mark and Stochs have rolled over from oversold levels.
Price is set to extend gains above 61.8% Fib and is on track to test 76.4% Fib at 132.05. 21-EMA is major support at 129.15, retrace below negates bullish bias.
