NZD/USD chart - Trading View
NZD/USD was extending margianl gains on the day, trading 0.29% higher at 0.7181 at around 06:45 GMT.
The pair paused 3-day downside at 21-EMA support at 0.7149, weakness only on break below.
Major trend for the pair remains bullish. But overbought oscillators on weekly charts could cause some weakness.
'Death Cross' (bearish 50 SMA crossover on 200 SMA) on the hourly charts keeps scope for further weakness.
Breach at 21-EMA support could see dip till 55-EMA at 0.70. Further weakness finds strong support at daily cloud.
With no significant data ahead, markets will focus on the US political headlines and news concerning the aid package, along with the virus updates, for fresh impetus.
