- Australia: November unemployment rate rose by 0.1 percent to 5.1 percent, as the economy added 37,000 jobs amid a 0.1 percent increase in the participation rate, which is now at 65.7 percent.
- Japan: BoJ kept monetary policy unchanged with interest rate at -0.1 percent.
Upcoming:
- Switzerland: November trade balance will be released at 7:00 GMT.
- Italy: PPI inflation report for November will be released at 9:00 GMT.
- Eurozone: October current account balance report will be released 9:00 GMT.
- United Kingdom: November retail sales report will be published at 9:30 GMT. BoE will announce monetary policy decision at 12:00 GMT.
- United States: Weekly jobless claims report will be released at 13:30 GMT, along with the Philadelphia Fed manufacturing survey. EIA will release weekly natural gas inventory report at 15:30 GMT.
- Japan: November CPI inflation report will be released at 23:30 GMT.
