Lots of economic data and events scheduled for today, but all with low to medium volatility risks associated.

Upcoming:

  • Switzerland: Q1 GDP report will be released at 5:45 GMT, followed by the April trade balance report at 6:00 GMT.
     
  • Germany: Import price inflation report to be released at 6:00 GMT, along with GFK consumer confidence report.
     
  • France: May consumer confidence report to be released at 6:45 GMT.
     
  • Eurozone: Private loans and money supply statistics for the month of April will be released at 8:00 GMT. Sentiment reports will be released at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • United Kingdom: Inflation report hearings will take place before the parliamentary committee.
     
  • United States: S&P/Case-Shiller house price report due at 13:00 GMT, followed by consumer confidence report at 14:00 GMT, and Dallas Fed manufacturing report at 14:30 GMT.
     
  • New Zealand: RBNZ will release the financial stability report at 21:00 GMT, which would follow RBNZ governor Orr’s speech.
     
  • Auction: The U.S. will auction 3-month and 6-month bills at 15:30 GMT, and 5-year note at 17:00 GMT.
