• Australia: Building permits up 3.3 percent in September, down 14.1 percent from a year ago.

Upcoming:

• France: Q3 GDP report will be released at 6:30 GMT, followed by consumer spending report at 7:45 GMT.
   
• Spain: HICP inflation report will be released at 8:00 GMT, along with retail sales report.
   
• Switzerland: KOF leading indicator for the month of October will be updated at 8:00 GMT.
   
• Germany: Unemployment report will be published at 8:55 GMT, followed by CPI inflation report at 13:00 GMT.
   
• Italy: Q3 GDP report will be released at 9:00 GMT, followed by consumer and business confidence report at 10:00 GMT.
   
• Eurozone: Q3 GDP report will be released at 10:00 GMT, along with Eurozone sentiment report.
   
• United Kingdom: CBI distributive trade survey report will be released at 11:00 GMT
   
• United States: S&P/Case-Shiller house price report will be released at 13:00 GMT.
   
• Canada: BoC governor Poloz is set for a speech at 19:30 GMT.
