Data released so far:

• Australia: Private sector credit grew 0.3 percent in November, up 4.4 percent from a year ago.
   
• China: Manufacturing PMI declined to 49.4 in December from 50 in November. Non-manufacturing PMI rose to 53.8 in December from 53.4 in November.

Upcoming:

• United States: Dallas Fed will release December manufacturing business report at 15:30 GMT.
   
• Auction: The U.S. will auction 12-month bills at 16:30 GMT.
