Not many economic data and events scheduled for today, but some with high volatility risks associated.

Data released so far:

  • Japan: Markit services PMI report declined to 50.9 in March.
     
  • Australia: Building permits down 6.2 percent in February, down 3.1 percent from a year ago.
     
  • China: Caixin services PMI declined to 52.3 in March.

Upcoming:

  • Italy: Unemployment report will be released at 8:00 GMT, followed by public deficit details at 10:00 GMT.
     
  • United Kingdom: Construction PMI report will be released at 8:30 GMT.
     
  • Eurozone: February unemployment report will be released at 9:00 GMT, along with flash March consumer inflation report.
     
  • United Kingdom: March Markit manufacturing PMI report will be released at 8:30 GMT. BRC shop price report will be published at 23:00 GMT.
     
  • United States: MBA mortgage applications report will be released at 11:00 GMT, followed by ADP employment report at 12:15 GMT. Markit services PMI report will be released at 13:45 GMT, followed by ISM non-manufacturing PMI at 14:00 GMT. EIA will release weekly crude oil inventory report at 14:30 GMT. FOMC member Bullard is set to speak at 13:45 GMT, and Mester at 15:00 GMT.
     
  • Australia: AiG performance of services report will be released at 23:30 GMT.
