- Australia: Retail sales grew 0.4 percent in August.

- France: Services and composite PMI will be reported at 7:50 GMT.
- Germany: Services and composite PMI due at 7:55 GMT.
- Eurozone: Services and composite PMI due at 8:00 GMT, followed by retail sales for August at 9:00 GMT.
- United States: MBA mortgage application will be reported at 11:00 GMT, followed by ADP employment report at 12:15 GMT and trade balance at 12:30 GMT. Markit services PMI report will be published at 13:45 GMT, followed by ISM-non-manufacturing PMI report at 14:00 GMT. EIA will release weekly oil inventory report at 14:30 GMT.
- Auction: US will auction 5-year note at 17:00 GMT.
