GE Aerospace shares fell 3.67% to $299.87 Tuesday after the company released third-quarter results and raised its 2026 adjusted earnings forecast, extending a loss from Monday.
The shares had dropped 0.81% to $311.28 on Monday, before GE Aerospace issued its results after that session closed. The report covered the quarter ended Sept. 30.
Orders increased 49% from a year earlier to $19 billion. GE Aerospace said solid demand and strength in commercial services helped support the rise. Total GAAP revenue rose 16% to $14.1 billion. GE Aerospace reported adjusted earnings of $2.25 a share, up 36% from a year earlier.
The company raised its 2026 adjusted earnings-per-share forecast to $8.00-$8.10 from $7.65-$7.85. The change was its second increase to the range this year, following a July revision; earlier coverage of GE Aerospace’s outlook change examined the updated guidance.
Cash from operating activities fell 14% to $2.2 billion. Free cash flow, a non-GAAP measure, also declined 14%, to $2 billion.
The stock finished Monday at $311.28, below averages calculated over 20, 50 and 200 sessions, at $313.19, $323.89 and $319.72, respectively. Its daily MACD histogram was positive, with the MACD line higher than the signal line.
Fourth-quarter performance is the next indicator against the company’s revised full-year forecast.
