Gate’s Oct. 18 reserve snapshot showed coverage above 120% for both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH), with $8.688 billion in total reserves across 500 cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin coverage stood at 121.60%, up from 120.32%. The snapshot showed 25,727 BTC in reserves against 21,156 BTC in customer balances. Ether coverage reached 123.78%, compared with 123.59% previously. Customer balances were 362,785 ETH, while reserves totaled 449,042 ETH.

Combined coverage for the four stablecoins was 116.59%. The snapshot showed about $1.746 billion in reserves and roughly $1.497 billion in customer balances.

Across all categories reported, reserve amounts exceeded the corresponding customer balances. The figures compare the two amounts at one point in time, rather than tracking continuing wallet activity.

EconoTimes’ earlier report on Gate’s seven-day net inflows covered wallet movements over a rolling period, a separate measure of exchange activity.
