- Russia-U.S. - Syria: United States, United Kingdom, and France have struck Syria with missiles Friday night, however, the strike was more limited than originally anticipated. Several countries like Germany and Italy refused to join the strike. It is being reported that more than a hundred missiles were fired at three targets. The Syrian government claimed that it successfully intercepted 70 percent of the missiles. While western leaders defended their attack, Russia called the strike as an illegitimate one and accused the NATO allies of destroying crucial evidence a night before OPCW investigators were set to investigate the recent chemical attack in Syria.
- Russia-UK-Skripal: A Swiss Laboratory that is a permanent member, of the OPCW analyzed that the toxin which was used was BZ toxin, not Novichok and it was not manufactured by Russia and was used in the past by several NATO allies.
- Korean Peninsula: Unconfirmed reports suggest that North Korea is ready to offer denuclearization of the Korean peninsula when North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-Un is set to meet the U.S. President Donald Trump in exchange for the removal of sanctions and reduction in joint military drill between the U.S. and South Korea.
- Palestine - Israel: Violence continues in Gaza strip as Palestinians march against what they call is Israel’s occupation of their land. Scores of people have been killed and wounded in the latest spark of violence.
