Global X lists Thursday, Oct. 29, as the next payable date for its U.S. Bitcoin Covered Call ETF (BCCC).
Global X's U.S. fund page lists Monday, Oct. 26, as both the record date and ex-dividend date. Investors recorded on that date qualify for the distribution.
Listed on Cboe BZX, the fund sells options tied to exchange-traded products with Bitcoin (BTC) exposure to generate premiums. Global X's prospectus says the strategy can limit gains if linked products rise while leaving shareholders exposed to declines. The fund page also says distributions may include a return of capital.
A Canadian fund with the same name and ticker has separate November distributions in Canadian dollars. EconoTimes previously covered its C$0.125 payments scheduled for Nov. 6 and Nov. 20.
The U.S. fund's distribution is due Thursday, Oct. 29.
