Global X Investments Canada Inc. set a C$0.08400 October distribution for Global X High Interest Savings ETF (CASH), a Toronto-listed fund, marking a C$0.003 reduction from its prior monthly payment.

The issuer’s Oct. 23 schedule gives the distribution in Canadian dollars and identifies the Toronto Stock Exchange as CASH’s listing venue. Global X expects Oct. 29 to serve as both the ex-date and record date. Payment is scheduled for Nov. 6 and may arrive on or around that date.

Global X’s payment record shows that holders received C$0.08700 on Oct. 7, C$0.003 more than the October distribution. Investors enrolled in the fund’s dividend reinvestment plan may receive additional units instead of cash.

Global X says the fund’s main holdings are high-interest deposits at Canadian banks. The issuer says no government deposit insurer protects CASH units, including the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
