Go1 said employers could offer OpenAI Academy courses to staff through its workplace learning platform starting Nov. 4, adding an AI training option to systems organizations use to manage employee learning.
The first release includes AI Foundations, Applied AI Foundations, and Agents and Workflows. OpenAI’s Academy site styles the last title as “Agents & workflows.” Go1 said the courses became available through its service on Nov. 4.
Employers can choose courses or modules and assign them to employee groups, Go1 said. After an organization enables access, workers can look for the material in an Academy section or use search. The layout and access experience depend on the organization’s Go1 configuration.
OpenAI said in September that its Academy offers learning paths for knowledge workers, developers, leaders, educators and college students. The company said those paths include practice on tasks related to people’s work.
Go1 framed the partnership as a response to employers adopting AI faster than workers can build relevant skills. CEO Chris Eigeland said, “AI adoption is moving quickly, but workforce capability isn't always keeping pace.” Go1 also says learning spread across different providers and platforms can make it harder for human resources and learning teams to track participation and spot skill gaps.
Go1 says its tools allow employers to see what staff are studying, follow skill trends and compare them with industry peers. The company identified employees, organizational leaders, and human resources and learning teams as intended beneficiaries. The announcement did not give pricing or deal terms, and Go1 said the experience can differ across platform configurations.
