‘Gotham’ season 3’s episode 19, titled “Heroes Rise: All Will Be Judged,” will follow Edward Nygma as he is forced to forge an alliance with his enemy, Penguin, in order to get out of a tough situation. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne is set to move on to his next phase of training with Temple Shaman.
The synopsis for “All Will Be Judged” posted on TV Guide reads, “Temple Shaman (Raymond J. Barry) reveals his hand to Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and sets up the next phase of training;
Gordon (Benjamin McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) are put into danger as they come across a crystal owl that reveals the most coveted secrets of Gotham's underworld; and Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) and Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) are forced to work together in order to get out of a tricky situation.”
It will be interesting to see how Nygma would end up working together with Penguin, especially since he almost killed the latter in the most recent episodes. It seems that the two villains will have to put their differences aside for the benefit of working towards a common goal.
Meanwhile, Temple Shaman is set to continue training Bruce as the latter transforms from a terrified young boy into a skilled warrior worthy of protecting Gotham City. According to Moviepilot, Bruce was kidnapped by the Court of Owls and brought to their leader, the Shaman, who intended to destroy the city completely to reshape it into their organization’s liking.
David Mazouz, who plays the mysterious and powerful Shaman, teased during an interview with Cinema Blend that when the villainous Ra's al Ghul finally makes an appearance on the show, viewers will immediately recognize him.
Mazouz said, “Ra's al Ghul will absolutely be coming onto the show, and all I'll say is when he does, you will know it's him. That's all I'll say. You'll know without a doubt who he is and what he stands for, and the destruction that he'll be bringing with him to Gotham.” It was speculated that the Shaman may actually be Ra’s al Ghul.
‘Gotham’ season 3’s episode 19, titled “Heroes Rise: All Will Be Judged,” is scheduled to air on Fox on May 22, 2017. It will be followed by episode 20, titled "Pretty Hate Machine," scheduled to be released on May 29.
