‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13’s episode 12, titled “None of Your Business,” is set to feature Bailey as she is forced to deal with a defiant doctor, who refuses to work with Eliza.
The synopsis for “None of Your Business” posted on TV Guide reads, “Maggie's (Kelly McCreary) mom visits her unexpectedly at work. Meanwhile, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) must make a tough call when one attending defies orders by not working with Eliza (Marika Dominczyk); and Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) gets swept up in Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia's (Caterina Scorsone) personal problems.”
It seems that the upcoming episode will find Bailey in a tough spot as she is forced to deal with a defiant doctor, who is refusing to work with Eliza. The previous episode followed the physicians at Grey Sloane Memorial Hospital attempting to make Eliza’s first day at work a living nightmare.
Dr. Eliza Minnick is double-board certified surgeon and educational consultant was brought in by Dr. Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen) to take charge of the hospital’s surgical residency program, fueling the ire of some of the attending in the process as she was essentially hired to replace Dr. Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr).
According to International Business Times, the promo for episode 12 revealed that Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) will clash with Dr. Bailey because of her refusal to work with Eliza and this may cause her suspension or even dismissal from Grey Sloane.
In the promo, Meredith is standing in Bailey’s office with her arms crossed. Bailey reminds her, “She is the residency director.” Meredith insists, “I do not support this.”
When Bailey tells her to “get in line,” Meredith continues to refuse. In effect, Bailey demands that she goes home immediately.
It would be interesting to see how Meredith copes with the difficult decision that could determine her fate in the hospital. It seems that her refusal to work with Eliza may cost Meredith her job.
‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13’s episode 12, titled “None of Your Business,” is scheduled to air on ABC on February 9, 2017. It was directed by Geary McLeod and written by Andy Reaser. It will be followed by episode 13, titled "It Only Gets Much Worse," scheduled for February 16.
