‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13’s episode 17, titled “Till I Hear It From You,” is set to follow Owen and Amelia as they clash while working on a case together. Meanwhile, Bailey will attempt to mend her relationship with Richard.
The synopsis for “Till I Hear It From You” posted on TV Guide reads, “Maggie's mom returns to the hospital, but Maggie's (Kelly McCreary) still in the dark about why she's really there.
Meanwhile, Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) hash out their problems as they work on a trauma case together; and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) tries to mend her relationship with Richard. (James Pickens Jr.)”
The upcoming episode will shift its focus on Owen and Amelia, after the previous episode followed Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) reunite. According to Variety, things got emotional for fans of Jackson and April as the divorced doctors headed out of town to work on a case together.
Drew said, “I think that this episode is really more ‘Jackson the Movie’, than ‘Japril the Sequel’… It really is about Jackson’s journey, and it made sense to have the person who knows him best be on that journey with him and show up and be strong for him in the midst of it.”
In addition to the medical drama, Jackson confronted his estranged father after introducing himself. He and April also end up kissing after everything. Drew addressed Jackson and April’s relationship from then on saying, “I think they’re in a really heightened moment, for sure. They’ve had this tremendous victory of this surgery, which seems virtually impossible, but even more than that, he has set aside some pretty big demons that have been haunting him and she was there with him to encourage him along the way.”
She continued, “They’ll always love each other and they’ll always have this chemistry with one another, and I think that moment is a product of all those things all coming together.”
On the other hand, it seems that Owen and Amelia will have to go through some hurdles in the upcoming episode. Tensions will rise between them as they work on a case together. Although they may attempt to make peace by brining issues out in the open, it seems that doing so would lead to bigger arguments.
‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 13’s episode 17, titled “Till I Hear It From You,” is scheduled to air on ABC on March 23, 2017. It was directed by Kevin McKidd and written by Austin Guzman. It will be followed by episode 18, titled "Be Still, My Soul," scheduled to be released on March 30 and directed by Ellen Pompeo.
