Not many economic dockets scheduled for today and all with low to medium risks associated.

 

Data released so far –

 

  • Australia – TD securities inflation cooled to 1.7% compared to 2.1% in February. Building permits rose more than 3% in February, but still down more than 9%. Retail sales flat for February. ANZ job advertisements rose 0.2% in March.

 

Upcoming –  

 

  • Spain – Unemployment change for March will be released at 7:00 GMT.

 

  • Italy – Will announce fourth quarter deficit and deficit to GDP ratio.

 

  • UK – Construction PMI will be released at 8:30 GMT.

 

  • Euro Zone – Sentix investor confidence for April will be released at 8:30 GMT, followed by unemployment rate and producer price index at 9:00 GMT.

 

  • United States –ISM New York index will be released at 13:45 GMT, followed by Labor market condition index and factory orders at 14:00 GMT.

 

  • Canada – Bank of Canada Governor is scheduled to speak at 14:00 GMT, while releasing business outlook survey.

 

  • New Zealand – NZIER business confidence will be released at 22:00 GMT.

 

  • Australia – AIG performance of services index will be released at 23:30 GMT.
