Not many economic dockets scheduled for today and all with low to medium risks associated.

Data released so far 

  • China – Consumer price index declined -0.4% in March, up 2.3% from a year ago. Producer price index -4.3% y/y In March.
  • Australia – Home loans rose 1.5% in February, whereas investment lending for homes edged up by 4.1%.

Upcoming 

  • Italy – Industrial output for February will be released at 8:00 GMT.
  • United States – Treasury Secretary Jack Lew is scheduled to speak at 12:30 GMT, followed by William Dudley at 13:25 GMT. FED is holding an emergency meeting today and some announcement may came afterwards.
  • United Kingdom – BRC retail sales monitor will be released at 23:00 GMT.
