- Japan - Flash PMI for August came at 51.9 compared to 51.2 in July.
- China - Caixin Flash PMI dropped to lowest in more than 6 years at 47.1.
- Germany - Manufacturing PMI flash reading rose to 53.2 and 53.6 for services. GFK consumer confidence dropped to 9.9 in September.
- France - Flash reading showed manufacturing PMI set to drop at 48.6 from 49.6 and services PMI to 51.8 from 52 prior.
- Euro Zone - Euro Zone services PMI is set to grow to 54.3 in August from 54 prior and manufacturing PMI to remain about same level at 52.4.
- UK - Public sector net borrowing in July came at -£2.07 billion compared to £8.636 billion.
