With a startling back-and-forth interview with Ellen Degeneres, Gwen Stefani has already publicly stated how ready she is for when Blake Shelton pops the question. She doesn't include just herself. Stefani also talks about how much her three kids – Kingston James McGregor, Zuma Nesta Rock, and Apollo Bowie Flynn -- and even her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, love Blake Shelton.
Still, the couple has always insisted that they are nowhere near finalizing any plans of marriage between the pop rock diva and “The Voice” coach. But fans just won't be satisfied, not by the overt levels of sweetness that Gwen Stefan and Blake Shelton have displayed recently.
The recent hubbub over how supportive Blake Shelton has been during Gwen Stefani's Las Vegas shows have been prime sources of speculation due to how close the two have become since they got together almost three years ago. Blake Shelton even endured a round of applause and cheer from the crowd as he made his way to his seat during one of Stefani's Vegas shows.
Shefani should know how bananas their fans are about their potential matrimonial union. People are no longer talking about their camo pants or baseball caps. Fans now gush over how Shelton gets along so well with Apollo. They talk about Stefani's romantic performance of “Make Me Like You” in a cowgirl outfit; the song, as Stefani has admitted, is about Blake Shelton. And lastly, people are talking about Blake Shelton jokingly referring to himself as Gwen Stefani's stalker who is sweet and romantic. Not a joke that usually flies well with the public.
While Blake Shelton mentioned in a recent interview that he was thinking of marrying Gwen Stefani but was not thinking about the immediate future, he failed to mention how long "not anytime soon" will be for the couple.
