“Hawaii Five-0” Season 9 Episode 18 will have Danny take the spotlight once more given the plot of the next release focuses on his personal relationship. To be precise, Danny (Scott Caan) will be dealing with his mother-in-law Amanda Savage, a person that the detective doesn’t get along with.
In “Hawaii Five-0” Season 9 Episode 18, Danny and McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) will act as the security detail of Savage who has made a name for herself in the literary world as a romance novelist. During their interaction, the eccentric woman will express her disdain towards Danny, while simultaneously taking a liking to McGarrett, TVLine reported.
Needless to say, “Hawaii Five-0” Season 9 Episode 18 will have some funny and awkward moments in it, peppered with jokes and quips from Savage at the expense of Danny. Meanwhile, Tani (Meaghan Rath) and Junior (Beulah Koale) will be going undercover at a gym to investigate a dangerous batch of steroids that has claimed the lives of several people.
While their storyline will be tinged with tension, there’s also an underlying romance brewing beneath them. It has been hinted by the police procedural that both characters have feelings for each other although this avenue hasn’t been fully explored by the writers. It is for this reason that some are speculating that “Hawaii Five-0” Season 9 Episode 18 might push this narrative forward.
Regarding the case that Tani and Junior are investigating, it seems that the showrunners have taken inspiration from the opiate fentanyl problem that Hawaii has suffered in the past few months. The cheap synthetic painkiller has been deemed as highly dangerous given that a small dosage of the substance coming in contact with the skin can trigger an adverse reaction. As for the release date of “Hawaii Five-0” Season 9 Episode 18, it’s been slated to air on March 8.
