Haystack says employees will be able to draft private intranet pages and publish group posts from four AI platforms starting Oct. 26, extending its existing search connections.
The company announced Oct. 22 that its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server is available to customers through ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio and Slack Marketplace. Haystack launched its Claude connection in August. Employees can use the integrations to search company content, and Haystack says answers link to source pages in its intranet.
Each employee signs in with an individual Haystack account. The company says the integrations follow the requesting employee’s permissions, so access to intranet content depends on that person’s account.
The planned writing features would let employees create knowledge pages that remain private. They could also make posts for groups where they have publishing access, then save posts as drafts or publish them, Haystack said.
Organizations can choose whether to enable writing, and administrators can disable tools individually. Haystack also says it does not use customer data to train AI models. The company’s support page describes MCP integrations as add-ons licensed separately from its core intranet platform.
The support page lists page and post creation as a Q4 2026 feature in beta, without giving an Oct. 26 date. Haystack’s announcement sets that date for the planned rollout, so the support documentation does not yet reflect the specific timing the company announced.
