Hero Motors shares reached the 5% upper price band on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) for a third consecutive session Thursday, Oct. 29, LiveMint reported, putting the stock 45.7% above its IPO issue price.

LiveMint put the intraday quote at ₹122.40. Hero Motors’ Oct. 13 filing records an IPO issue price of ₹84 and says its unaudited results cover the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Shares began trading on the BSE and National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on Sept. 23, according to the filing. In an earlier session, the stock closed at the NSE’s lower price band.

For the June quarter, consolidated revenue from operations reached ₹319.32 crore (₹3.19 billion), compared with ₹255.74 crore in the same period a year earlier, a 24.9% rise. Consolidated profit was ₹9.57 crore, against ₹3.88 crore. Profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was ₹10.20 crore, up from ₹4.74 crore, an increase of 115.3%.

Hero Motors’ investor presentation put earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) at ₹39.27 crore, 45.9% higher than a year earlier. The EBITDA margin was 12.17%, compared with 10.20%. The filing says the June 2025 comparative figures had not received a limited review by statutory auditors.

In an Oct. 5 response to an exchange query about an earlier price move, Hero Motors said it had no identified cause and no undisclosed price-sensitive information. That reply predated the latest three-session run.

Separately, the board approved a proposed cash purchase of 8,039 shares in UK subsidiary Hewland Engineering, each with a face value of £1, for about £0.60 million. If completed, the transaction would raise Hero Motors’ holding from 51% to 90%. The filing gives an indicative completion period of about six months.
