Specialist insurer, Hiscox USA, today announced two senior executive appointments to its fast-growing Professional Risks division, which is committed to providing tailored risk solutions to a wide range of industries and professionals, together with dedicated underwriting practices for architects and engineers, healthcare, real estate and technology sectors.

Joseph Reynolds has been appointed to Vice President, Architects and Engineers Product Head and Thomas Rea has been appointed to Vice President, Professional Liability Product Head. Both new hires will be based in New York and will report to Hiscox USA’s Senior Vice President, Head of Professional Risks, David Egosi.
Reynolds has fifteen years of insurance and product leadership experience and joins Hiscox after three years at XL Group as Vice President and A&E Product Head, where he managed one of the largest Architects & Engineers E&O portfolios in North America. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College and a JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
Rea brings twenty years of professional liability experience and joins Hiscox after seven years at Travelers as Underwriting Director, where he managed their national MPL and Real Estate E&O portfolios. Tom holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Western Connecticut State University.
