Hitachi Construction Machinery booked ¥698.1 billion in revenue for the first half, a 6.7% year-over-year increase and a record for the six months ending Sept. 30.

Higher Parts and Service revenue improved the sales mix, helping adjusted operating income absorb higher costs, which were concentrated mainly in logistics. Yen depreciation provided another source of support for that measure.

For the fiscal year ending in March 2027, the company projects ¥90 billion in net income attributable to parent shareholders.
