Michelle will be honored today at the 28th annual Woman of the Year event in New York.
The HBA is the leading not-for-profit global organization committed to furthering the advancement and impact of women in healthcare worldwide. Michelle is being recognized for her commitment to advancing other women's careers through mentoring and sponsorship, as well as her 20-plus year dedication to the healthcare industry.

Michelle joined Horizon Pharma in December 2014 as vice president, financial planning and analysis and was promoted to her current position in October 2015. During her long tenure in the pharmaceutical industry, she has held numerous leadership roles in financial systems, global planning and reporting. Prior to joining Horizon Pharma, Michelle spent seven years at Fenwal, Inc. where she was the vice president of finance, responsible for directing her team in sales reporting, decision support and business operations. She also held roles at Fenwal as a director of global planning and reporting where she was responsible for transitioning the global business and implementing global systems, processes, and procedures. Prior to Fenwal, Michelle spent 10 years at Dade Behring in several positions with increasing responsibility in finance and global operations. She received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in Bloomsburg, Penn.
