SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK, Sept. 28, 2017 -- Hotwire, the global communications agency, today announced promotions of senior staff and new hires to support continued growth in North America. Hotwire recently launched its new brand and growth initiatives, including its social impact practice and pop-up office in Minneapolis.
Promotions
Christa Conte, who joined Hotwire in 2012, has been promoted to senior vice president and head of the New York office. Christa oversees all of Hotwire’s business in New York, including awareness, growth and culture. She also leads the Hotwire digital commerce team.
Laura Macdonald has been promoted to senior vice president and head of consumer for the US. Laura has been with Hotwire for nearly 10 years and has been instrumental in growing Hotwire’s consumer sector. She first joined Hotwire in London before moving to San Francisco in 2015 to build the team and business in this market.
Hugh Collins has been promoted to vice president and head of the Fintech and Regtech team in the US. Before joining Hotwire in 2016, Hugh led IR and communications strategy for clients at MBS Value Partners. Prior to that, Hugh worked as a reporter for Bloomberg News, AOL and Reuters.
New Hires
Vincent Bates, director, Digital Brand Lab. Vincent joins Hotwire from LEWIS Pulse, where he was the digital marketing director. Over the course of his career, he has worked with a variety of consumer and business-to-business clients – notably, Starbucks, Hilton and VMware.
John O’Leary, director, client services. John joins from LaunchSquad, where he led accounts for major tech brands and startups ranging from Sage to Olapic and ZeptoLab.
Craig Gottlieb, senior vice president, business development. Craig brings nearly 20 years of client partnership and business development experience to Hotwire. Prior to joining Hotwire, he was a senior director at Max Borges Agency.
Alex Davis, senior director, business development. Alex joins Hotwire from Water Cooler Group. He has more than 10 years of business development experience with top-tier clients across multiple industries.
