At 7 a.m. ET (11:00 UTC) on Oct. 21, a Hyperliquid quote put a contract tied to Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X ETF (SOXL) 4.48% above the fund’s Oct. 20 close, reversing the previous morning’s discount.

The SOXL-linked futures contract was quoted at $101.92 at 7 a.m. ET (11:00 UTC), against the ETF’s $97.55 closing price from Oct. 20, Hyperliquid data showed. U.S. cash exchanges were closed at the time, while trading on Hyperliquid’s xyz market continued.

In an Oct. 20 reading of the same contract, the futures quote was $94.26, or 4.45% below SOXL’s $98.65 Oct. 19 close. Each percentage compares a derivative quote with the ETF’s previous regular-session closing price. Neither is the contract’s 24-hour price change.

Across xyz, trading volume reached $3.89 billion over the 24 hours before the Oct. 21 snapshot, spread across 137 instruments. Open interest, the value of positions still outstanding, stood at $3.86 billion. Those figures cover the market as a whole, rather than the SOXL-linked contract alone.
