FREMONT, Calif., April 01, 2016 -- Hyve Solutions Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE:SNX) and the first Platinum Open Compute Project (OCP) solutions provider, is now offering the new Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2600 v4 product family as an enhanced option for its popular Ambient Series servers. Through improvements in the processor’s performance, orchestration and security, Hyve Solutions is able to amplify its already highly-efficient Ambient Series servers with the new Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v4 product family.
Hyve Solutions Ambient Series servers have been specially designed and engineered to tolerate much higher temperatures, which allows for the ambient air in a datacenter to efficiently cool the servers instead of resorting to power-hungry chilled cooling systems. The result is a substantial and measurable reduction in power consumption, and, with the new Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v4 product family powering it, its efficiency is improved dramatically.
“Intel has always been a leader in advancing the technologies to enable cloud providers to offer better experiences to their users while keeping the core tenet of increasing efficiency of the datacenter as its focus,” said Steve Ichinaga, President, Hyve Solutions Corporation. “Including the new Intel Xeon Processor E5 2600 v4 Product Family in our Ambient Series servers line up helps our shared customers save significantly on power consumption and money.”
“The Intel Xeon processor E5 2600 v4 product family is built for the cloud with the performance, security and orchestration support demand by cloud providers,” said Raejeanne Skillern, vice president and general manager of the Cloud Service Provider Group at Intel. “Hyve Solutions has helped accelerate cloud deployments in the largest cloud provider datacenters and this continues with new platforms based on the latest Intel Xeon processor.”
Hyve Solutions Ambient Series servers with Intel’s Xeon processor E5-2600 v4 product family and other innovative products are available for large-scale datacenter customers to purchase direct from Hyve Solutions by calling 855-869-6873 or emailing [email protected].
