WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., March 29, 2018 -- I.D. Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDSY), a leading provider of enterprise asset management technology, announced the release of a new program to educate and certify technicians who install and operate I.D. Systems platforms for Industrial Truck management. An overview of the program, and registration is accessible now for our customers and partners via www.IDSYUniversity.com.
There are three courses available today, with more to be added for the entire I.D. Systems portfolio planned. The first three courses are:
PowerFleet® Installation: Provides a basic understanding of the PowerFleet system.
PowerFleet® Wi-Fi Configuration: Focuses on configuring and troubleshooting Wi-Fi communication.
PowerFleet® Optional Sensors and Sensor Hub Connections: Outlines the requirements for installing and configuring optional sensors to expand the system’s capabilities.
All existing customers and partners are encouraged to register for this program, and complete the coursework. Completion certificates will be issued for each completed course, and those individuals who complete all three programs will be awarded IDSY “Master Technician” Status.
Because these systems, and the vehicles they control are constantly evolving, the plan is re-certify each technician annually via short coursework updates, and then new certificates and credentials will be issued each year.
“We know from years of experience, that getting the installation and set-up right the first time is critical to ensuring long term customer satisfaction with our solutions,” said Meg Otto, Vice President of Customer Service. “Whether you are a dealer or customer, you can have full confidence that IDSY University-certified technicians will ensure a successful installation every time. That saves money, increases safety and boosts performance.”
