Apple India Private Limited’s revenue reportedly exceeded ₹1 trillion in fiscal 2026, while India’s premium smartphone shipments grew much faster than overall handset shipments in calendar 2025.
The Economic Times, citing Registrar of Companies filings accessed through AltInfo, put revenue from operations at ₹1,03,853 crore (about ₹1.04 trillion) for the year ended March 2026. That was a reported 31% increase from FY25. The newspaper also reported that net profit rose 66% to ₹5,311 crore.
Apple’s publicly posted annual return covers the preceding fiscal year and records about ₹79,060.51 crore in turnover for the year ended March 2025.
The wider market shifted toward more expensive phones in calendar 2025, according to Counterpoint Research. Shipments of models priced above ₹30,000 rose 11% and accounted for 22% of all units shipped in India. Overall smartphone shipments increased 1%, while their estimated wholesale value grew 8%. Apple held 28% of that market value.
Counterpoint said financing helped buyers move to higher-priced devices: Nearly two-thirds of purchases above ₹30,000 were financed. Its market estimates cover a different period from Apple India’s accounts, and wholesale shipment value is not the same measure as the company’s reported revenue.
In February, Apple announced that Apple Borivali in Mumbai would become its sixth store in India. It listed financing and trade-ins among the store’s services. The Economic Times said the filing it reviewed did not specify what drove the reported FY26 revenue and profit gains.
The broader handset market weakened at the end of Apple India’s fiscal year. Counterpoint said Indian smartphone shipments fell 3% from a year earlier in the first quarter of calendar 2026. Counterpoint Research Senior Analyst Prachir Singh described pressure on affordability from memory-related cost inflation and currency pressures.
